...Like Clockwork review

Queens of the Stone Age, at their peak, were considered a metal band. Now, this album doesn't quite meet the criteria to be considered metal, but it is their most acclaimed release since their breakout regardless. How did it turn out?

The music of ...Like Clockwork is as epic as its name, with great playing from the instrumentalists and great singing at the forefront. The tunes are all energetic and forward-propelled, meaning that it's constantly thrilling. As an experiment, it is a resounding success, with brilliant composition all throughout. Each song sounds fantastic, and that's all there is to it. It's a fantastic listening experience, and certainly bound to be one of the best rock albums of the year.
